DELIVERY - accurate advice updated daily

  • Delivery is normally between 4 and 6 weeks after order
  • Our log cabin prices include all delivery charges - unlike others we do not add delivery charges during the checkout process.

FREE CRANE OFFLOAD: The delivery lorry normally includes a crane to unload your log cabin quickly and easily without assistance. If there is no lorry with crane available the driver will unload the cabin by hand. There is normally one pack which is unloaded on the drive or verge at the front of your property. Pack sizes vary from around 3.0m long for a small cabin to 5.5m long for a larger cabin. The packs are polythene wrapped and securely strapped while in transit but after the pack is opened the individual components are easy to carry. The wall logs can be carried one or two at a time and all packages are designed to pass through a normal single door.

OPTIONS - you can add any of these options to your basket

  • Choice of storage room door in the left side wall or in the right side wall (viewed from outside)
  • Choice of green or red mineral felted roof
  • Decorative felt tiles
  • Toughened safety glass to BS6206A
  • Floor insulation
  • Roof insulation

DECORATIVE FELT TILES: Mineral coated bitumen felt tiles are an attractive and durable roofing material which is far more hardwearing than standard roofing felt. Traditionally used for small buildings only in the UK, most felt tiles are made in Scandinavia where they are used widely in housebuilding.

TOUGHENED GLASS: Toughened glass is around 6 times stronger than normal glass so it is less likely to break and when it does break the glass breaks into harmless small pieces.

UNDERFLOOR INSULATION: The underfloor insulation is designed to suit our timber floor. The insulation is fitted between the timber floor joists and below the floor boards. Our unique plastic clips ensure that the insulation is suspended at the optimum height. With no nails or other fixings required, fitting is much quicker and easier with our clips. Detailed instructions are supplied. The floor insulation used is 50mm thick polystyrene which is certified by the British Board of Agrement.

ROOF INSULATION: The roof insulation is laid over the roof boards and below the roofing felt. This ensures that the internal appearance with attractive tongued and grooved boards is unchanged. The roof insulation kit includes rigid foam boards which are lightweight and easy to install. Longer felt nails are included for fixing the roofing felt through the insulation. Timber battens are also included to retain the insulation boards and to conceal the exposed edges. Detailed instructions are supplied. The roof insulation is 50mm thick polyurethane foam with foil laminate facing on both sides. It is certified by the British Board of Agrement.

PRESERVATIVE TREATMENT: We recommend good quality microporous woodstains which are impervious to water but not to water vapour. This allows the wood to breathe. There are many different types of woodstains available to suit a variety of timber products from fence panels to hardwood windows. It is advisable to seek advice at a builder's merchant or hardware shop before choosing the most suitable preservative.
