• The extra cost of fitting roof insulation includes fitting timber battens to the roof, laying fibreglass insulation batts between the battens and laying boards over the insulation before laying the felt tiles or granular steel tiles in the normal way.
  
• The extra cost of fitting floor insulation includes cutting and fitting polystyrene insulation boards which are suspended between the floor joists before laying the tongued and grooved floor boards in the normal way.
